Just to add to the travel tip thread.  Because water bottles are
dangerous (blocking, leaking with vehicle vibration, ferret not knowing
how to use it etc), and water bowls can tip over, I cut a plastic coke
bottle in half and cable-tie it to the door of the travel cage.  It only
needs to be half filled with water, so no spills, and ferrets love
putting their heads right in to get a drink.
