Hi everyone....

My daughter, age 9, is planning to do an independent study on ferrets.
She says she needs information on history, habitat, etc. Can anyone
suggest good resources? Anyone willing to be interviewed?

Whomever mentioned the astringent, great idea! The ferrets won't even
get near my toes now.

Heard from Julie Fossa (who heard from someone else) that there was an
ill ferret at the Coventry Township, OH Pet Supplies Plus so I went to
check them out. Was pleased to see that both of the ferrets they had up
for sale were healthy. However, their sales people were really quite
pushy. Haven't seen that in other Pet Supplies Plus. I must have been
asked 5 different times my two different people "are you sure you don't
want a ferret?" Just what we need, people trying to push others into
owning a ferret that perhaps don't have any business owning one.

I realize I desperately need to weed out my t-shirts. I think I have at
least one for every day of the month. Any shelters out that could use
them?

Also, spent quite a while with Julie on Saturday at her shelter. My
first visit to a ferret shelter. What fun to watch all of them. And
Oscar got a new home while I was there. That was nice to see. Oscar
is a sweetie. I wanted to take all of them home with me.

That's all for now!

Take care,
Alayne
