This is going to sound absolutely silly to all of you long-time ferret
owners, but I just found out how exciting a ping-pong ball can be to a
ferret.
 
I let Pepita out in the bathroom and put a ping-pong ball on the floor (it's
linoleum, so it rolled really well!).  She must have chased that thing in
absolute glee for over half an hour!  Of course, I think this should only be
done under supervision, as a ping-pong ball's plastic is not too strong.
 
By the way, sorry I haven't written lately!  I joined a few other animal
mailing lists, plus it's been the holidays and all...anyway, hope everyone
had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
