Happy Memorial day! I hope everyone has a nice long weekend!

I have a 1 1/2 year old male who has a marble sized lump under his skin
on his neck. It will shrink and enlarge in size; within weeks. The lump
is fairly stiff, I guess I would say. It has some squish to it, but not
rock hard. I know that is not a very good description; but hey. It's
been pretty gradual, no drastic changes. We first noticed it late last
fall & has been mysteriously vanishing & reappearing since then. We
called the vet; he says this is common in ferrets & to keep an eye on
it.  If Buster isn't bothered by it don't worry.  My vet is very good;
I trust him. But, I have never had another ferret with this type of
problem & I have had a few in my day. Is it really that common? What
is other owner's experience with this problem? Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks
Lisa & Buster Brown
