I've just gotten back some photos of my 4 month old baby and my 6 year
old ferret snuggling. If any ferret club or group has use for a photo
showing that ferrets and babies can indeed co-exist peacefully let me
know. Pam Grant is already on the mailing list. I think I took some
pretty decent photos. (trying not to beam too much)

My first opinions on the BFF release. We can spout off all we want to
about how every BFF should be saved. No body in the world is more of a
preservationist than I am BUT in any release program there will be
deaths. I mourn the ferrets that have died. But they did not die in
vain if information was gained that could prevent losses in fertile
younger BFFs to be released later. Losses have occured in every release
of other animals as well. We need to keep emotional issues from clouding
the scientific issues.
