Hi all,
 
I actually have a good story about pet therapy and ferrets.  Here in
Atlanta there is a group called "Hands on Atlanta".  They are a very
large non-profit organization that helps out in many different areas
using volunteers.
 
When I was a member I joined one of their pet therapy groups and was able
to take my ferrets into nursing homes and such.  The residents were so
happy.  Some where scared of them, but most of the people really enjoyed
them being there!!
 
We had so much fun.  Hands On also has a group of people that go into
womens prisions with their pets.  I was trying to join up with them.
They told me that my ferrets were more than welcome to join.
 
Unfortunately, I got so busy at work and home, that I have temporarily
stopped volunteering.  I can't wait to start up again!!
