I blame the ferret owner totally for the death of his two ferrets.  I,
however, do believe that anyone will say anything on the phone and
unfortunately there are people out there who will believe things without
doing anything to check things out.  This Petco is in Newark, Delaware.
And I do know for a fact that there are several people there (the kids
who work there) who have ferrets because when my daughter wanted a ferret
we actually went there 1st and talked with some of the kids there who had
ferrets.  This Petco is clean and the ferrets there look fine and in fact
we would have bought one from them but we found one at a small pet store
where I have now purchased 3 from them.  This particular gentleman told
me he had bought the ferrets from Petco so thats why he called Petco to
get help.  I was appalled that he would even think to call a pet store
over a vet but many people just dont think.  Then ha actually took those
poor ferrets to the spca to be euthanized.  All in all it is a sad story.
