Tornado and Hurricane were adopted out again. Poor kids, they've been to
the shelter 3 times in less than 2 months! Hopefully this home will be
their last! Sissy, after being at the shelter for months, was finally
adopted into a good home. i'm real happy for her.

We took in quite a few ferrets this week too. 2 from the Toronto Humane,
2 from Oakville H.S. and one from Brampton Animal control. She's 6 1/2
years old.

Snowball, the ferret who came in over the Ferrets 2000 weekend is sick. He
was at the vet's this week and he *may* have lympho. He has a spot in his
lungs that on x-ray looks like a ball of cotton. He's been slow lately
too. Yesterday however, mommie was playing with him and he chased her
down the hallway for about 10 minutes before he crashed in her arms.

Grandma has been very ill too. She hasn't eaten for 3 days now and has a
fever of 102.3.....mommie is very worried about her. i'll keep you up to
date.

Sadly, Knuckles (auntie Paige's foster kid) passed away last week. We were
all sad to hear this. Knuckles was the kid who's mom didn't take him to
the vet, and called us because she couldn't afford his care. he was
malnourished and near death, but auntie Paige nursed him back to health.
He passed away in his sleep peacefully.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!! i'm thankful for my friends like you!!!!!

all my love,
Harley "Bug"
