Our favorite Vet decided to return to school to become a hooman Dr. and
since then we have interviewed three vets. We have found a Vet in this
region that has a few ferret clients but also seems to believe I am
"rather over protective" Which makes me smile...cause I AM protective!

This came as a result of a discussion on ADV which he did not believe
was in Canada because he had never had a case or maybe because he didn't
realize what ADV is, and because I will not have both distemper and
rabies needles at the same time.

We finished our hour interview/visit with a mutual understanding that I
will take precautions and he can think of me as "over protective" and he
will read all the literature I take him.....very fair.

So sometimes we should take the initiative and start with our own testing.
I am very pleased with Avecon. Canadians can order on line and they will
ship to Canada even if it is just one test.
