We had one of our ferret's pass away yesterday.  I've been reading Ferret
Mailing Lists and tons of info on ferret's these past 6 months.  Our little
girl had some Blood Disease/Disorder and was dieing within 2 days.  She
went down hill from day one.  I hear of many sick ferret's, but never that
are dieing in a day or two.  Was her sickness a rare case or what?  She was
being treated for a minor bacteria infection, but the doc said in a day or
two I would know if she would live.  Even duck soup every 2 hours didn't
help at all.
 
Sure it's too late to really know what was wrong.  It was so hard on all of
us since this was our first animal to pass away besides a hamster.
 
My heart goes out to all sick animals and the ones which have gone to the
Rainbow Bridge.
