Turmeric has some anticoagulant properties so those need to be taken into
account. I don't know how large these are and of course, ferrets vary in
their degrees of response to anticoagulants. I don't have my refs handy
and no time to go to PubMed but seem to recall that it also was under
study for possible ability to lower blood sugar, but I don't feel secure
in that recollection and may be mis-remembering. Check it given ferrets'
tendency toward insulinoma. One of its compounds recently is being
studied for some interesting and potentially useful properties in
relation for some specific forms of human malignancies if memory serves.

Onions and garlic can potentially present anti-coagulant risks for some
ferrets.

Communication: Intolerance goes in either direction. People differ.
That's life. One non-overt post with a mild challenge that presents a
different facet for contemplation hardly constitutes an attack. It is
also not to be unexpected that if faith-based things get heavy for a
while those topics will cause others to feel uncomfortable and belittled,
the same way many of us wind up feeling when missionaries come by to tell
us that they have the answer and the rest of us are clueless slobs. Hey,
is it any surprise that faith has been described as the single largest
cause of war? (I have to wonder if money may actually be higher,
though.) Pax on list!
