I know this isn't exactly ferret related (or maybe it is ....) but I
thought this list would be a great place to find someone who is employed as
a vet tech. I am thinking about this as a second career after I retire
from nursing (getting tired of taking care of people) but have some
questions to ask about what it is like to work as a vet tech. What is the
salary range? Do you make more money if you are certified? What is a
typical day like? Are vets, in general, nice to work for? What kind of
things can a vet tech do? Are vet techs employed in research? Is there
more opportunity working with small animals and exotics or with large
animals like horses?

Please respond privately,
Thanks
Sherri
