A few days ago, a friend and I were discussing Oscar's whiskers. How
long and shapely they were.

Recently Oscar has discovered how to leap from a wooden chair in the
sunroom and onto the kitchen bench. I thought I had moved the chair
far enough away. But coming into the kitchen to check on some pasta
that was cooking on my gas stove, I smelt something odd.

Oscar was happily digging through my breakfast cereal, otherwise
unharmed, but with fried whiskers. On both sides.

Ferret proofing is never over. The girls dont give me a tenth of the
trouble that Oscar does. :)

Sandra,
Clover, Princess (recovered from insulinoma surgery), Oscar-the-curly and
Gemma-the-cat.
