Hi Cassandra

In many cases that I've experienced and talked with people about, IBD
is reactive to chicken, so A/D would probably do no good whatsoever.
That is not to say A/D isn't good in other situations, or that all IBD
cases are chicken-sensitive. But if IBD is suspected, I'd recommend a
chicken-less diet first to rule that out since it's the most common,
and just skip the Hill's prescriptions all together.

Incidentally, I feed my kids raw too. I find Natural Ferrets and The
Holistic Ferret Forum super informative if anyone is interested!
