I completely agree that ferrets are little messy things..........I love my
Trixie to death but she is into everything...........she found my potting
soil also and spread it all over the floor......we've found poop in every
corner of my house at various times...........(including the fact that
when she is done using the litter box she rubs her butt on the carpet to
"wipe")...........
 
If you're not prepared to have frequent messes in the house, ferrets aren't
for you.  And they can't be penned up in a cage 24/7 either, they need
running time and space.  Please think about these things carefully before
you get a ferret for a pet!
