Yesterday, we went to the Baltimore Ferret Club show. We didn't bring our
ferrets, but we bought them several new sleep tubes and hammocks. I
remember reading that the ECE virus can possibly be transmitted without
direct ferret-to-ferret contact, via human hands or clothing. I was
wondering if we need to take precautions with the new bedding we brought
home from the show, especially the items that are not packaged. What would
be a reasonable time to ``quarantine'' these items to make sure that they
are not carrying any live viruses?
