Hi Joy,
 
I'm glad you brought up the subject of ferrets chewing cloth.  I'd like to
know why as well.  My little Cujo "Bear" (who's not so little Hehehe) does
that too, especially on afghans, but on most anything anymore.  He's only 9
months old but he's done it off and on since he was tiny.  I'm real curious
of the other responses you'll receive.
