I disagree.

At issue is the fact that some people are tired of the board of Ferrets
Anonymous doing little to nothing to promote ferret legalization in
California. At issue is the fact that there are some chapters and
chapter members of Ferrets Anonymous in California that want to see a
positive change in leadership. The current FA president has been at the
helm of FA for a decade+, and nothing has changed in the legalization
arena. Ferrets Anonymous is in a state of stagnation and some of us
are ready for some new direction on the part of our leadership. It's
time for Ferrets Anonymous to stop being a cliquish social club and
start being what it's bylaws purport it to be, an organization that
"promotes" legalization of the domestic ferret in California. Perhaps
you should go to [log in to unmask] and read Lance's
campaign letter one more time (it's at the bottom of the page).

Further, Jeanne Carley's "I'm-right-and-Pat-Wright-is-wrong" diatribe
is getting old. If the FA board and Ms. Carley feel so strongly about
pushing a legislative action, well then, perhaps they should step up
or step off.
