Rebecca,
Your experience sounds horrendous.  No wonder you are afraid to repeat it.
But not all adrenal tumors are cancer, and even the cancerous ones aren't
usually invasive if caught early (or so I have read).  Brutus's was cancer,
but he is free of adrenal symptoms now since Jan 2000.  There will always
be some bad outcomes, but hopefully more will do well.
