Rocky has taken a turn for the worse. Several days ago, he stopped
eating one, then two of his 4 meals of CG. Then yesterday he stopped
eating at all. He wouldn't even eat his meds in heavy cream, which he
loves. So I started feeding him with a syringe, and brought him to the
vet. She said that with all of his problems -- insulinoma, adrenal
disease and possibly lymphoma, there wasn't much she could do. All of
his vital signs were normal, and even though he ate very little that
day his BG was 66. He was much more lively at the vet than he had been
at home, so he didn't seem as ill. But he's very weak on his legs and
only wants to sleep.

How long do I keep syringe feeding him? Is this his was of saying it's
time to go? I want to do the right thing by him. I will be devastated
to lose him, especially since he's my first and only ferret, but I
don't want to prolong his suffering.
