I've been reading about the dog/ferret issue and to tell you the truth...
I'm a little annoyed!  Flame me if you'd like but here's my opinion.
 
I have a Malamute who is very good with my ferrets.  He was taught from
the time we got him not to chase small animals.  I think it's absolutely
disgusting that people would allow their dog to chase a squirrel, mouse
or any other small animal.  Shame on you for allowing that to happen.
