Just recently Jackie asked

Last I heard, the charges against the guy were dropped due to lack of
evidence.  I got that off one of the websites 10/98.  The url was (not

My boy Hershey is one of the survivors.  He was stabbed twice in the
abdomen.  He is a happy bouncing, playful fuzzy.  He does, however, freak
out when he sees a needle (vaccinations and such).  I didn't know much
about the attack outside of what the shelter mom at the Oregon Ferret
Shelter (where I adopted him) told me.  She really didn't elaborate and
since it really seemed to upset her, I didn't ask for details.  I did some
research on it and read the whole story.  That night I literally held
Hershey and cried for hours.
