Massachusetts has a bill circulating in legislative committees that would
allow for the recovery of not only medical and veterinary expenses but
also pain, suffering and emotional damages cause by the injury or death
of a companion animal. And the damages would not only go to the animal's
owner; the animal itself would see a chunk of the change.

among the items being considered are things like quarantine rooms-- ALL
GOOD THING IMO!

Perhaps contacting the MA dept of Agriculture in SUPPORT of this bill
would be a GREAT thing for MA pet lovers!
