When an ambulance goes by with its siren on, I cannot believe how many
people do not pull over that I have encountered on the road over the
years. So today at noon, was too eire and chilling for words. At noon-on
a major and busy street--every car pulled over or stopped. There was no
siren. Every car stopped for a moment of silent prayer and reflection. I
never saw anything like it.

Over half of my clients are not in this week. They had 4000 in the trade
building. 1000, they said, are still unaccounted for. A major piece of
equipment in the office needs to be replaced. I cannot get it. It cannot
be flown in at this time. My business suffered enormously this week, and
will continue to do so until air travel allows the equipment in. Then we
will have to wait for the repair people to install. We are on a waiting
list.

Still, during this economic duress, I am offering gifts and free shipping
of those gifts to help out the Utah ferrets, in exchange for a donation to
SOS. The bill to rescue them, get them to shelters, get their shots and
surgeries, food and their cages and water is going to be enormous. Do not
be overwhelmed. Let us take it ferret by ferret.

I know that I cannot be alone in these kinds of difficulties that our
office is faced with. One of the major airports here may have to declare
bankruptcy now. But there must be something you can donate if you cannot
afford to purchase anything.

We are all going to buy gifts for others for birthdays and holidays. Why
don't we make it a gift with a story? A gift that saves a life.

Why not give a gift and explain how this gift helped save the life of one
of 200 ferrets.

And SOS, when they receive your donation, can send you a note of thanks
describing what your gift means to over 200 ferrets that have been
abandoned, scrunched in small guinea pig cages and carriers, and not let
out to play for God knows how long. Animals that could not possibly have
recieved proper care and attention by their sheer numbers..

I have a sculpture that is done in porcelain of a ferret, a little girl,
and her baby carriage and doll done in pastel that is about 3 inches by 3
inches. For a donation of $50, you can have an original design. You will
not find this anywhere else.

E-mail me if you would like this gift, or the others I offer today.

Think of what YOU can offer.
A gift saves a life.
