Is there anyone out there that can help us? Our little fuzzies used to be
real good with going in the litter box. I have 9 ferrets and 2 litter boxes
in their cage. (They used to go on the upper levels of the cage but, after
scrubbing the entire cage we put carpet down and they stopped. But one of
my fuzzies caught what was believed to be ECE, and she would go right next
to the litter box. I guess it took too much energy to hop in the box.
Anyway, since then they take turns going right next to the litter box. I've
scrubbed the area and tried to remove the scent with various things, like:
409 and Outright Simple Solution but to no avail. They have also started
going in other areas of the cage. We clean out the litter boxes once to
twice a day. We've tried to put food and bedding in the corners but they
still go in those corners.

Also, they seem to like going in the corners under the cage when they're
out. (Their cage is on wheels). If anyone has any other ideas please write
to me.
