Hi everyone and hope your holiday was joyous.  I want to take this
opportunity to thank everyone that personally responded to my post
regarding Yuki's passing.  I tried to answer all who wrote but if I missed
one or two please accept my apology at the oversight and take this one
instead.
 
I had decided to have Yuki privately cremated so I could have her with me
always.  Today, Yuki was returned to me to be placed on top of my mantle so
I can "see" her everyday and smile in rememberance.  Some people might not
understand why I did this, sometimes I don't understand either, but, it was
something deep inside me that said I just "had" to do it.  I feel better
having her with me and knowing that I did my best for her.  I know she is
playing with her brother Boley and watching over me and waiting until we
can be reunited.
 
This experience has helped me understand how fragile their little lives
really are.  There were times when I would let everyone out to play, but
"I" would stay at my computer catching up on email and such.  Not really
taking the time to "play" with them.  NOW, when it's time for the
"business" to get up and play, I close down my browser, disconnect from
the net and get down on the floor and "play" with my kids.  And you know
what, they notice!  They are more playful, they come up to me and step on
my toes, touch my leg, want to be picked up and hugged or kissed, they just
want to be with ME!!!  Isn't that wonderful.  It's just to bad that I had
to lose one for it to hit me in the face on just how wonderful these little
guys/girls are.  Take it from someone who learned that hard way, hug and
kiss and play with your little furkids everyday as it's the last.
