Just a quick note to say thanks for the numerous emails and cards (e- and
snail mail) regarding the recent loss of a relative.  The sentiments were
very kind and I think you.
 
I look forward to meeting many of you at the symposium.  Feel free to
come up and introduce yourself- -I'll be the good-lookin' guy in the
colorful Hawaiian shirt.  Bill (aka BIG and *I* know his middle name)
will be the good-lookin' guy NOT in a Hawaiian shirt.  This is important
to know because it seems we are always being confused with each other
(NOT the same as being confused, my normal state).  I don't mind being
confused with Bill, but it think it harms his reputation to be confused
with me.
 
If you have never been to a ferret symposium, you should go.  It is worth
every dime and each moment.  I hope to see most of you at the Hawaiian
party!
