I don't currently own ferrets (due to a room-mates allergies) but do own an
African Pygmy Hedgehog.  When he gets concerned, he too will fear poop,
although I honestly can't think of any good reason for it as he is very
friendly and used to me, but still, does on occasion, poop on me when I go
to pick him up.
