Hi,
 
My name is Boo.  Well that is what my foster mum is calling me for now.
I really belong to a pet store called Haynes Pet Center.  On my foster
mum's birthday, she came into the store and saw me in the cage and my
poor bum was all red and swollen.  When she pointed this out to the
owner, she said she had just taken him to the vet and they told her it
was a prolapsed rectum and it would heal by itself.  Well my foster mum
told them that the litter in my cage would just make it worse and offered
to take me home until I was better.  I did get better and was returned,
only to come back to her a day later, because my bum was still red.
Three days after that I was taken back to the vet and he put some sugar
in my bum and tried to push it back in, telling my foster mom it would
be ok, just to keep him on moist food.
 
Trouble is, it is not better and I she knows I need to have surgery to
have it fixed.  She wants to have this done but does not have the money
it would probobly cost to have it fixed and the owner of the pet store
has been trying to contact both the breeeder, and Marshall Ferrets to see
if they can help.  Anoter worry is that the breeder would more than
likely take me back and give her another fuzzie and have me put to sleep
and Marshalls has not gotten back to her.
 
So her delimma is to try and find a way to raise the money to have me
looked at by a GOOD and retable ferret vet she knows in Macon.  Any
idea's??  She is at her wits end and I know that she wants to do what
ever she can to help me.  She has plnety of love and time to look after
me and cuddles and plays with me every day, now I just want to get better
and I need some help.
