YOU KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR FERRETS WHEN....
 
....You start a series of twice weekly shots because you just found out the
weird spots on your arms, neck, and face are contact dermatitis caused
from an alergy to ferret fur.
 
....You don't buy a new file cabinet even though your study has become a
fire hazard because of piles of files, and instead spend the money on
having your baby girl neutered.
 
....You have 13 beasties running around the front room, but when you hear
of a new bunch of babies (congrats Pam!) you get jealous and want to beg
for one, cost no object even for the ugly one, just so the rest of the pack
can have a new friend.
 
....You stop a decades old habit of buying two new records a month (ok, now
CDs), cutting it down to just one, so the extra money can be spent on new
ferret toys.
 
....You turn down a chance to teach for a year in California because they
are an FFZ, and you couldn't bear to be away from them for so long.
 
I definately and desperately need to get a life....
