Our beloved Mitzi went to Rainbow Bridge this past Saturday after fighting
it for as long as she could. She has gone on hopefully keeping her adopted
brother company who passed away this June with cardiomyopathy.

Mitzi was a very sweet and loving ferret, she was always more than willing
to curl up with Mike or myself for a cuddle & nap and give me kisses. We
adopted Mitzi in May of 95 as a friend for our first ferret Tara.

Mitzi will be remembered for her love of squeaky toys, the way she would
bounce away joyfully to hide them or after stealing them from another ferret
or our dog. She was also masterful in opening doors, which was an enormous
help to her friends who were waiting anxiously. She also loved to play in
the tunnel with her four siblings. She could give chase to anyone in that
tunnel and get them out of there in a hurry. Her four siblings respected
her, they would never pounce on her while she was sleeping or eating her
favorite Duck Soup, everyone else was fair game for pouncing but not Mitzi.
If Jena was ever being rude, Mitzi was the one to set her in her place, she
reigned as queen in our house. How Mitzi loved her Duck Soup, she would
always come when called for her breakfast in the morning, and would always
come to find us around 9:30 each night for her dinner. You could usually
find her curled up with Dutch or sleeping in her sack, her favorite spot was
in our bedroom among our clothes. Mitzi was always willing and ready to go
in the morning for play before we had to leave for work. Her time in our
lives was way to short. Her mysterious illness came so quickly, and just as
quick stole her away from us. I still find it so hard to believe she is
truly gone from our lives. She will forever live in our hearts and minds.
We miss you Mitzi...............

Mike & Michelle, Tara, Dutch, Hexy & Jena
