I would never use Proheart in ANY animal, too many deaths and adverse
reactions.  Think about it, you are putting 6 months of poison into the
animal at once.  If the animal reacts, then you have a long wait for it
to get out of the system and irreversible damage or even death may be
the end result.  Heartworm preventative should not be on the list for
the average ferrets care, so I hope people don't run out and get this.
