2mg per what? kg? pound?

Would you please translate 2mg to ml or cc?? I give mine 15/100cc of
Benadryl about 30 minutes prior to their vaccinations. My bottle of
Benadryl doesn't have the mg on it that I can find. And, you recommend
10 minutes prior? Is that adequate time for it to work? Or, are you
talking about an injection? I think most of us just give liquid Benadryl
ourselves.

On hobbies: My hobby is wildlife rehabilitation and I certainly don't
collect wildlife! Quite the contrary. My goal is to rehabilitate and
release back into the wild. Why do I call it at hobby? I don't make a
bit of money off it; in fact, I spend a bunch. I don't see "hobby" as
a negative thing. I see it as doing something you enjoy (and not your
primary source of income).

On Long-distance Vet Diagnosis: A veterinarian does NOT always have to
physically examine a patient to offer advice or make a diagnosis. I am
currently consulting with a vet in California (I'm in Florida) on a opossum
with Metabolic Bone Disease. I sent her x-rays (for her to make the
initial diagnosis) and spend at least an hour weekly on the phone with her
discussing diet and physical therapy. Her phone advice far surpasses the
advice I can get locally as she has spent the last 15-20 years studying
opossums almost exclusively, developing proper diets, and diagnosing and
rehabilitating those who develop diseases.

And, just an aside...please let Dr. Williams post all he wants to. I find
his posts very educational and informative.
