OH, yeah, I rushed and did it wrong, but I DID remove the amounts and
replaced with a letter to represent them for safety sake when I quoted -
that was my change rather than the original. Being off by a level of
magnitude, BTW, is something that can be fatal with certain meds, and
just one more reason for people to NOT give med dosages on list.

Lead: lead testing kits are rather cheap, if I recall right from back when,
and it makes sense to find one; do ceramics, pottery, glazed pottery,
metal, glassware or crystalware used for food or beverages AS PER
INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. We decided to reserve the piece of crystal for uses
other than consumables; would have also retired any pewter if we'd had any,
and anything of appreciable weight for it's size since that often indicates
the presence of lead to add weight. Oh, and the Galena sample is where a
ferret can't get to it, ditto serpentine copper, ditto... :-) Have retired
all galvanized dishes dishes long ago due to the reports of zinc poisoning
in them, too. Ashtrays are NOT safe as dishes due to so many having high
lead contents (for heavy weight) to prevent spills that could result in
fires. Appreciated today's mention of the copper poisoning risks with some
things, too. Metals can be dangerous. Another source of some dangerous
metals is oil paints unless they have changed, so take safety precautions
with those -- storing safely, venting, etc. Anyone have up-to-date info
on those? We know an artist who was damaged.

Amen to point #1! As for #2: please, remember to be current since
situations can and do change -- hopefully, and hopefully for the better.
