Anecdotal evidence only, but Goose had a bad left adrenal and he has
*really* long fingers.
 
I thought that the "blue" color was associated with new hair growth;
Goose being mostly white, his hair was orange when it started growing
in...blue I thought would be new growth of darker hair in sables, etc.
