Hi Michelle,
Sometimes my ferrets occasionally have a dazed look too.  I think sometimes
they veg-out just like we do.  I believe a dazed look can also be a possible
sign of insulinoma problems - where the glucose in their brain gets a little
low and they appear to lose their concentration.  You might have Ayla's
glucose checked just to make sure everything's ok.  Good luck!
