I'd like to announce a new web site dedicated to the dissemination of
information on these two, all-too-common, diseases in ferrets.

What started out as a page for pictures of participants of the Ferret
Adrenal/Insulinoma mailing list ended up as a complete site dedicated to
these two diseases. Hey, so I get carried away sometimes. :-) Besides,
when I went searching for information on either of these two diseases, I
spent hours and hours getting bits and pieces here and there. So, I
decided to try to pull it all together, putting info directly on the site
whenever possible, and having links to pages elsewhere on the web when I
am not able to get permission to use the info directly.

With Lynn McIntosh's blessing, I also included a page where eventually, the
full text of all of the Ferret Adrenal/Insulinoma mailing lists will be
available... searchable as is the entire site. Right now only about the
last 10 FAIML's are online, but little by little, all 166 and counting will
be added.

I've really just begun, but feel I already have a number of articles of
interest on the site and decided it was time to let the cat out of the bag,
so to speak. So, if you have a ferret suffering from one of these two
ailments, stop by and take a look. Perhaps you'll find some new
information. Or perhaps you'll see that something you know about is not
there and should be. I'd would be deeply in your debt for any contributions
to make the site better and help out others in search of answers and
options.

Here's the URL: http://www.miamiferret.org/FHC

Any suggestions are MORE than welcome and greatly appreciated.

For the ferrets,
Mike
