Dave--
Two (Remi and Carlin) of the five (four remaining) ferrets we've had have
responded to their names.  Both of them were females, but since I posted an
inquery I have found that intelligence and gender don't seem to be linked,
so it's probably just a coincidence.  I know that our oldest, Magnum, knows
his name--he's responded a couple of times, but for the most part he doesn't
react to anything unless he wants to.  I think he learned that from the
cats.  The other two... we don't know if they even realize they HAVE names!
