Don't know how far up north you are, but Parrots of the World in
Long Island, NY often get ferrets from the smaller farms like Ruby or
Pattersen Farms. These farms are much smaller than Marshalls and cannot
even supply the store with ferrets year round. I cannot adopt since I'm
from the NYC and I purchase my ferrets from them. I'm willing to travel
many states to buy from breeders, but they will not sell to me due to
my location just like shelters will not allow me to adopt. Call them
before traveling there to see which ferrets he has in stock.
