Meep has developed a fondness (obsession?) with chewing gum. I have
caught him three or four times with a piece of gum, at least part of which
he has eaten. Does anyone know if this is likely to cause any problems
for a ferret? I know about the old wives tale of gum building up in your
stomach if you swallow it - any truth to that for ferrets? Any ferrets
you've ever heard about with obstructions due to chewing gum? If I wasn't
worried about him it would be hilarious. He opens the wrapper and wants
only the gum!
