Hello! I wanted to say "Thank You" to everyone that sent cards and well
wishes our way for Sadie's adrenal surgery. She's recovering fine, but
there is suspicion that the "bad" side (left, right, whichever is near
the vena cava) may need surgery farther down the line.

At first I was a little worried about her, but about 24 hours after
surgery she started getting active again and eating solid food followed
about 8 hours after that. She's very upset that she can't have much play
time and has to be in a cage by herself, but Smokey (cagemate) is known
for licking other ferrets' wounds, so until the stitches come out, they
are next to each other, but not together.

My vet was also VERY AWESOME, so if you need a recommendation for the
Hampton Roads Peninsula area of Virginia, let me know and I'll get the
name and number to you. She's just very thorough and compassionate (she
has ferrets herself).

Again, thank you to everyone who sent tips and well wishes. It meant a
great deal to both me and Sadie.

Hugs to all,

 Treva
