After reading the lastest FML I was reminded that I did not yet send thank
yous to all the people who were very helpful when I was looking for a
ferret to adopt. I would send personal ones but the e-mails have already
been erased and i don't remember everyone who helped. I did find a ferret
to adopt. She is an 8 month old little girl who I have named Calypso after
the sea nymph who detained Ulysses(spelling)for 7 years. Again I would
like to express my thanks.

On another note: I don't get to keep up with the FML as much as I would
like and as a result hotmail sometimes deletes my mail if the account
becomes to large. So I miss alot of stuff that is said. I usually wind up
getting the tail end of an arguement. I don't understand why some people
feel they need to rant and rave at other people for there opinions or yell
at BIG for letting some of the post get on the list. We are all here
because we love ferrets but not everyone will have the same ideas about
care. I agree that if we speak softly more often not only will people
listen but they will respect what they hear because it was done in a
respectful way. I do believe that the old saying is right "You can catch
more flys with honey than you can with vinegar". I think BIG has done a
wonderful job with this list and hope that it will be here for years to
come.
