There was a report in the Sunday paper about martens in Germany.
 
Apparently there are about 160,000 annual cases of these weasel-like
critters nibbling through the innards of vehicles and causing about $31
million in damages!
 
Places to avoid if you're touring Germany are Freiburg, Coburg, Stuttgart &
Ulm.
 
Hmmm, maybe car owners should leave little dishes of Ferret Choice by their
autos when they park them? :>0
