Just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about the passing of so many
beloved ferrets.  I cry when I read all of the posts.  I have a six year
old male and though he is in perfect health, and has never had any health
problems, I am really beginning to worry.  All the posts remind me how
quickly these little ones can be lost.  Just a reminder to spend MUCHO time
with your pets...you never know when they will be gone.  My heart goes out
to all of you.
 
Secondly, I had a question.  Why would a known ferret breeder pose and
project themselves as a non-profit shelter?  Is it to avoid some type of
required license or taxes?  It really perplexes me.  If anybody has better
answers for me on this topic, a private email would be appreciated.
