Today, I took my ferret,Smokey to Dr.Charles Weiss to have him evaluated
for surgery for insulinoma (previously diagnosed by our regular vet).  He
checked him out and decided to do the surgery--today!  He found 3 tumors
on the pancreas and also found a left adrenal tumor (no symptoms); all
were removed and Smokey is home, but sleepy.  Dr. Weiss said he should not
have any insulinoma symptoms from regrowth for 1.5 years!  I was reluctant
to have the surgery done, but now I'm sure glad I did.
