This came across another list I was on...
 
There are approximately 15 dogs, 16 cats, 3 ferrets, 4 rabbits, 1 guinea
pig, remaining in the care of the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane
Society at this time.  Only 10 of those have no identified owner.  Don't
know which 10... The shelter intends to keep all animals as long as
necessary to accommodate those persons who were affected by this fire.
The fairground temporary shelter was closed Saturday at 1700 when the
remaining cats and small mammals were relocated to the main shelter on
1920 Cerrillos Road.
 
HSUS, which had been providing disaster relief assistance for the animals,
stood down at 1300 today.
 
Can anyone down there help the 3 ferrets???
