Warning: Long post!

Hello,
Thanks to all of you for your very quick responses and advice...I just
love you guys! It is such a horrible feeling to have something you love
be sick and feel that there is nothing you can do...my son can tell me
what hurts and how he feels...Blaze cant.

Our vet vet visit went well....keep in mind my vet (although a Godsend)
is not extremely ferret knowlegble BUT she is willing to learn and has
a couple of her own.

She took a blood sample (had to gas him he is so adverse to needles since
His ordeal w/DIM) and his blood glucose was 76 she read to me out of a
book that that level is slightly low but not enough to be concerned
about....one of the responses was that 90 was about right....that seems
like a big difference. I did not fast him (a little scared to try) since
his appt was @8:00.....I just woke him up and put him in the carrier so
he probably hadnt eaten in several hours....he was really hungrey when we
got home!! His white blood cell count was good which was a big relief
considering he is recovering from DIM.

The only other thing the vet said was that he was slightly anemic...
again she said I shouldnt worry....she told me to take him home and if
he has another one to call her and we will do some more testing....
so....I am going to list the numbers she gave me...for a second opinion!

HCT  = 31.5               GRAN =2.6x10 9/L
HGB  = 11.0                %GRN =44%
MCHC = 34.9              L/M =3.3x10 9/L
WBC  = 5.9x10 9/L          %L/M =56%
PLT  = 202x10 9/L        Retc =.6%
Glucose = 76

If it turns out he does not have Insulinoma what would I be looking for
if he continues to have seizures?

He did not knock his head too hard (we dont think)...my son says he has
probably hit his head harder doing the war dance so I dont think that
could have done it unless is like someone posted and the knock just
really upset him and it just set off the Insulinoma and sent him into
a seizure.

Thanks again!!
