a ferret was brought into my job today. She is a funny color. her guard
hairs are a chocolatey brown, but her undercoat is very yellow/light brown
as well. i gave her a bath when i got her home, and she is still that
color, i thought maybe itt was from being outside.

she was found in North Port, Florida on Saturday. She seems very sweet,
but the people who found her haven't been able to find anyone she belongs
to. they drove around the area where she was found, put up signs about her
and checked the newspaper every day. they haven't seen anything.

i dont' knwo how old she might be. one of her canine teeth iss a little
chipped, but her teeth otherwise appear to be ok and clean. she doens't
have any fleas, just a few scratches, from being outside i guess, and what
look to be a couple of ant bites.

I posted on the ffml as well, but i am hoping to reach as many people as i
can. If anyone knows anything abotu a lost ferret or would like to adopt
her let me know. We are about at our limit and i dont' think my mom would
let me keep her. She is a cutie though.

thanks all!
