about 4 p.m.??...wed...guessing...i forgot to look at the clock...[i DID
know it was wednesday!!!!]...Dr. Beer called...he ended up doing 3 of the
4 surgeries today...Rascal, Sassy, and Monkey...all were doing well as of
when he called...
 
he said...[if i get this all straight!]...that Rascal and Monkey had huge
left adrenals..the rights were fine...and he 'tapped' Rascal's prostate
as it was huge...he said he was surprised at how nice Rascal's coat was
considering how his insides were!...and he said that Monkey was already
wanting to eat...LOL..that is our Monkey!!!
 
Sassy...well...he took the spleen out first...and he said it was bigger
than she was...[yeah...it was HUGE!!!...and she is not a large ferret...
but yeah..this was prolly a slight exaggeration...:)...]...and she had a
huge RIGHT adrenal...so he froze it...she will need watching a bit...
cause of the loss of blood from removing the spleen...
 
but gosh...she was SO uncomfortable ...we saw it in her face...she is the
one i was worried about...and i thank all of you for your prayers...but i
ask you to keep them up...she is not out of the woods yet...:)
 
Wolfie has surgery thursday...this will prolly be his right as he had his
left out a year ago...[yes..we know it can grow back...but it is likely
the right too...even if the left grew back...]...so please keep him in
your prayers too...
