One: Hi, I'm Cher and new to this list. My life revolves around Lance
(husband), Rikki (sable), Beaubeaux (sable), Hermann (albino), Pahzuzu
(Shetland), Shasta (sable), & Gracie (silver).

Two: List members may know of Gracie, who was separated from her man Gary by
the evil airline. The news on Gracie is that, in spite of the many kind,
generous, and appreciated offers of assistance from you and other ferret
lovers, Gary has decided to take reunion into his own hands. He gave notice
at work, terminated his lease, and is moving back to Illinois to be with
Gracie. They will be together next month.

Three: "Andy Renwick's Ferret" is a rousing Scotch reel on the first album
of the bagpipe band Scottish Rogues. Are there any other songs about
ferrets? Have ferrets starred in any movies other than "Beastmaster" and
"Kindergarten Cop"?

Four: Lance and I adore our six ferrets, but they are quite a handful --
several handsful. Our furniture has nooks and crannies and ferret tunnels.
Some were built-in, others were dug out. In short, despite best efforts,
there are a dozen ways for our business to misbehave, and they generally
each pick one when daddy's home. He gets so frustrated that the who lot of
them gets sent to bed.

He doesn't hate them; he's every bit the ferret lover I am. But he's afraid
they'll make him mad enough that he would lose his temper. He would never
intentionally hurt them, but they're so small, and he feels so big. Now
they only get to come out and play when daddy's at work.

I need suggestions. I'm not even clear what my question is. Suddenly we've
reached the ferret maximum.

Thanks for the welcome, Christine.

:-) Cher.
